Bee's Tuesday Tip #3

I am embarrassingly excited to bring you my Tuesday Tip numero tres today! (And yes, I'm still counting in Spanish.)

Not only is this my Tuesday Tip, it is also my Christmas present to you. This could be ground breaking for you. A total game changer.

Those who know me well, and clients I've worked with, will probably already know about this, but I want to spread the word farther. I want to tell the whole world about this. I want to bring holiday cheer to a couch near you.

Duchess Daisy McWhiskers demonstrates how to recover from a little too much holiday cheer.

It has to do with making yourself feel better when you're too full, or you're feeling nauseous, have gastro or are hung over. Some or all of these might happen during holiday periods that involve eating, drinking and being merrier than usual.

So enter the Tuesday Tip Christmas present:

If feeling any of the above, try lying on your left hand side.

Yes my friends. It's as simple as that. This is an age-old yoga trick, but it is also based on science. Our bodies might appear pretty symmetrical, but our organ placement makes us asymmetrical on the inside. Take the stomach for instance. Its natural position is on the left side, where it can digest food more effectively. So by lying on your left side, the gravity can help waste to travel from the small intestine to the large intestine.

But who cares about the yoga and science behind this? The main thing is to TRY THIS OUT and see if it works for you and your loved ones. Who doesn't want to be their very own guinea pig* over the holidays?

So with this Tuesday Tip and Christmas present, I bid you farewell for now and wish you happy holidays. Let me know how you get on.
